Fabulous Phonics Resources
The Fabulous Phonics system allows children to learn using a multisensory approach. It supports poor phonological skills by providing visual and gestural cues to differentiate phonemes and graphemes that sound or look similar. It supports retention by providing multi-modal cues and fade-out support structures that allow small increments of progress to be seen and celebrated.

Fabulous Phonics Resources
This is a pack of Fabulous Phonics Fade-Out Cards. They are A6 sized so are useful for individual and small group work. The fade-out system allows smaller increments of progress to be recognised. They can be used to make teaching resources or to track individual progress.
This printable resource provides cover sheets and 9 word-picture pairs for each of the 23 graphemes/phonemes introduced in book 2. It covers the consonant digraphs ‘wh’ and ‘ph’, the long vowel spelling patterns, the digraphs ‘ou’, ‘ow’, ‘oi’ and ‘oy’, and the short vowels ‘oo’ and ‘er’.
The Fabulous Phonics Word Banks – Each list has been carefully compiled to meet the needs of learners needing literacy intervention. Lists are included for all of the most common spelling patterns taught. The lists are designed to be used with a wide range of learners. Simple word lists include only common words, while more complex word lists include a much wider range of words reflecting the more developed vocabularies of many of the more advanced learners that will use them. The word banks include all the long vowels, r-controlled and complex-r-controlled spelling patterns. This book covers a vast array of words suitable for use in the games and activities suggested in the Dyslexic Logic – Literacy Support Programme (part 2 and 3).
